Whether by bike, on foot with Nordic walking poles or cross-country skiing in winter – the Pillersee is a picture-book idyll at any time of year. Especially in the golden autumn, the colorful deciduous trees along the lake fascinate with an incredible play of colors. In the summer months, the lake becomes the stage for numerous performances with live music, singing and Schuhplattler groups. The musical accompaniment ranges from traditional folk music to contemporary musical interludes.The whole experience is rounded off with the magical “Seeleuchten am Pillersee” every Wednesday evening – a lakeside light and music show that enchants locals and visitors alike.
